The New York Knicks have decided they will not extend the contract of general manager Scott Perry.

Perry has been general manager for the Knicks since 2017-18. He worked under President Leon Rose and executive vice president William Wesley this season.

Before this move the Knicks were one of the most intriguing teams this season. Now that they are looking for a general manager it gives them more buzz. All Knicks fans will be asking for a general manager that can get them a championship roster.

The Knicks do not have a first round pick in this summer’s draft, but they have their own first round choice for the next six drafts. They also have four additional first rounders from previous trades. Those can help them if they want to do a trade in the future. They have young talent that can be traded if they want a star. Some players could be Immanuel Quickley, Mitchell Robinson, Quentin Grimes and RJ Barrett.

Over the past decade getting a star to New York City has been a difficult task. They do have the assets and players to make a trade if everything lines up right. All of this would depend on the stars that will be available this offseason and how much management will be willing to put together packages. The new general manager will have a lot in front of them to work with.

The Knicks finished 47-35 before defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round. Then lost in six games to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Newsday first reported the Knicks decision on Perry.

Ted Lasso is easily one of my favorite shows of all time. It’s a show that has been shared and beloved by millions. The third and final season of the show is coming to an end, much to my dismay. The Apple TV hit began airing episodes back in August 2020. The show shined a bright light into the world with its positivity, humor, and loveable characters. As a huge fan of the show, I thought it was only fitting to make sure all the super fans like myself knew about the cool Ted Lasso merchandise that is out in the world. So without further ado, here are my top picks.

If you’ve watched the trailer for the third season you’ll probably have seen actors Brett Goldstein, Hannah Waddingham, etc. Holding yellow “Believe” signs in their own handwriting. This of course is inspired by Ted Lasso’s yellow “Believe” sign which hangs above Ted’s office door in the locker room of the AFC Richmond clubhouse. The WB has made 7 different shirt designs inspired by these individual character signs from the trailer. You can grab your favorite whether it be Roy’s, Keeley’s, or Rebecca’s. This will definitely set you apart as a Ted Lasso super fan.

Speaking of “Believe,” this headband is so great. It reminds me of the headbands that some of the Greyhounds wear while they’re planning in a game. It may not be Jamie Tart’s headbands from season two, but I’m definitely feeling the need to own one.

I love a good crewneck. And honestly, this one is amazing. I love the design so much. It has that perfect AFC Richmond logo, and the fact that it’s fleece lined? Sold!

If you’re not into gray, this black one will do the trick. Like the one above, this item is fleece lined. I also really like the gold color for the logo.

Trust me, I will be wearing this tank top all summer while I imagine myself playing with the AFC Richmond team. Now, I’m horrible at soccer, or football as they call it everywhere else besides the US, but I’d be willing to learn if I was wearing this cool tank.

The fact that these are called joggers made us want to purchase them alone. These sweatpants look so comfortable, and I love that they have the AFC Richmond logo on the pant leg.

“He’s Roy Kent!” Roy Kent, played by Brett Goldstein, is one of my favorite characters in the show. The surly, frequently cursing former footballer turned coach is not only hilarious but deep at the best times. And yes, I would absolutely light this Patron Saint candle every night for him.

I love a good ball cap, and yes I’d most likely wear this hat around all the time. If there was a real AFC Richmond club, I’d even show up to the games wearing it.

Want to feel like you’re a real fan? You can own your very own Ted Lasso AFC Richmond jersey. Now this one is for Ted specifically which is why it has double zeros for the player number. But you can also get Dani Rojas, Roy Kent, Jamie Tart, and Sam Obisanya’s jersey numbers.

One of my favorite Roy Kent lines in all of season two! Roy Kent knows his worth, and he wants everyone else to know theirs too. So if it takes reading a sign every morning to tell you to never settle for fine, then good! We’ve got you covered.

The whole concept of Believe is what the show is based on. You believe in yourself, in your teammates, in your skills, etc. So yes, we absolutely love this crewneck.

I absolutely loved this line in the show. And as someone who has about a million stickers on their computer, you bet your bottom dollar that I got this one!

Dani Rojas is a deep, but simple man. And “futbol is life!”

You can’t go wrong with Biscuits with the Boss. I loved this whole moment between Ted and Rebecca in season one. It’s where we started to see a different side of her character and just how great Ted is at pulling out the best in people.

I love the faux campaign t-shirt trend that’s been going around for a few years now. This one featuring two of my favorite characters was of course a Must Have! It comes in four different colors as well as a plethora of sizes!

I had to round off this list with easily my favorite moment in the entirety of the show. The dart scene between Ted and Rebecca’s horrible ex-husband Rupert is so profound. It gives you more of Ted’s backstory, which comes into play a lot in season two. “Be curious, not judgmental.” Ted quotes this as part of his story to Rupert where he ends up beating Rupert in darts. I’m not saying I’m good at darts, but this would be a great item for any major fan.

He’s here, here’s there, he’s… well you know the saying! Roy Kent is easily one of my favorite characters and for all you Funko Pop collectors, this is one you don’t want to miss out on.
